Annual Conference
The Mountain Sky Annual Conference will meet June 20th through the 23rd in Casper, Wyoming. It was the goal of Bishop Karen Oliveta to meet in each of the states that she serves. Last year at Annual Conference it was announced that the only holdout was Wyoming … thus our trip to Casper this year. The theme for Annual Conference is The Journey is Our Home. This will be our Bishop’s last held Annual Conference as she will retire when her term ends in September. This year there will be several personal things of note for me. First, my wife will be joining me. She will be attending a work-related conference early in the week in Denver and then will join me in Casper. Her aunt and uncle also live in Casper so we will be doing some visiting and she plans to see several of her clients through tele-health. At the conclusion of Annual Conference we will drive to Lincoln, Nebraska where we will be helping my parents get ready to move into an Independent Living Center. The other personal note is I will be officially transferring my membership from the Great Plains Annual Conference to the Mountain Sky Annual Conference.
